Rebecca H Salons COVID 19 & Skin Testing Policy
At Rebecca H Salons the safety of our staff and clients is paramount. We have updated our COVID 19 & Skin testing policy to ensure all measures are taken to make your experience in the salon as safe as possible. This has been updated in line with the current step 4 July 2021 Government guidelines for close contact services. Please read all of the following information very carefully.
IF YOU HAVE BEEN FEELING UNWELL, DISPLAYING ANY OF THE COVID 19 SYMPTOMS OR BEEN IN CONTACT WITH ANYBODY WHO HAS, PLEASE RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
We are working to very strict timings in order to limit the number of people inside the salon at any one time and to allow for extra time to sanitise each section in between clients. If you are early to your appointment please wait outside. If you are late to your appointment it will have to be cancelled and rescheduled.
YOU WILL HAVE YOUR TEMPERATURE TAKEN ON ARRIVAL
This will be via a non contact infrared thermometer. If your temperature is too high you will have to reschedule your appointment.
PLEASE WEAR A FACE MASK
Our staff will continue to wear face masks and we are asking all clients to wear a face mask at all times when inside the salon. This does not have to be of medical grade but must fasten around the ears. Face coverings that fasten behind the back of the head are not suitable. If you are medically exempt from wearing a face covering please contact the salon prior to making an appointment. We understand this is no longer a legal requirement however due to the close contact nature of our business and having vulnerable members of staff and clients we feel it is the right decision to take for our safety and yours.
PLEASE SUPPORT NHS TRACK AND TRACE
We have a unique QR Code available for you to scan using your smart phone. If you prefer we can safely store your contact details via our booking system.
PLEASE USE SANITIZER WHILST IN THE SALON
YOU MUST ARRIVE ON YOUR OWN TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please do not bring anybody else with you to your appointment. This includes children.
DO NOT BRING EXTRA LUGGAGE
We will not be able to store coats or bags. You must keep all your belongings with you.
NO SALON REFRESHMENTS
We have temporarily suspended all salon refreshments except water. Please bring your own drink.
FOR ALL COLOUR SERVICES CHECK YOUR SKIN TEST IS STILL VALID
Please read the following criteria regarding allergy/skin testing, If any of the following apply to you, you must arrange a new allergy/skin test at least 48 hours before your appointment.;
If it has been more than 6 months since your last hair colour
If it has been more than a year since your last allergy/skin test
If you have been using hair colour at home since your last appointment with us
If you intend on having a colour change
If you have experienced any sensitivities, allergic reactions to hair colourant or tattoo (including Henna or SPMU) or are taking allergy medication
If you have had COVID 19
If you have any concerns or are unsure if you need to be tested please contact the salon.
A SURCHARGE OF £4 WILL BE ADDED TO YOU SERVICE
To help cover the unavoidable costs of the pandemic incl. Salon closures, cancellations due to isolating, extra PPE, disposables, laundry and cleaning products.
ALL DISCOUNTS ARE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED
In an attempt to help the salon out of a financial crisis we will not be offering any discounts on services. To confirm the full price cost of your service please contact us.
THE SERVICE YOU ARE BOOKED IN FOR IS THE ONLY SERVICE WE ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE
Due to strict limitations on timings and salon capacity we cannot alter your booking or provide any extra services.
PLEASE BE PATIENT
We will endeavour to run as efficiently as possible but please allow us time to ensure every service is provided safely and correctly.
If you have any concerns during your visit please do not hesitate to ask to speak to a member of the management team.
At Rebecca H Salons we are asking all of our clients to adhere strictly to this policy. We will make no exceptions. We reserve the right to refuse service should anybody fail to comply with the new regulations. By choosing to receive a service you are exempting Rebecca H Salons from any liability.
